Known threats: This site is threatened by extraction of nonrenewable resources in the form of energy production and mining (oil and gas drilling). In terms of site use change, dams and water management/use represent a threat ( size of dams unknown). Human intrusions and disturbance from recreational activities is also a threat. And climate change and severe weather (i.e. storms and floods) also poses a threat in terms of physical alteration of the site.2
